Take our survey to aid Wake County COVID-19 Recovery Efforts

By: Albert Alwang, Economic Development Manager, Wake County Economic Development

Why are surveys important to our business ecosystem? Surveys offer the chance to share your opinion. Your feedback drives important decision-making to help move our community forward.

Recently, WCED has been circulating the Business Impact Survey. This survey is part of an effort to collect real-time data on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the local industry. WCED partnered with local economic and workforce development partners to develop the survey and provide outreach to industries whose input is critical in developing recovery strategies for Wake County and the region.

Economic data tends to be severely lagged, and the speed and breadth of the impacts due to the pandemic have created a need to understand the extent of impacts across all industries. Our community is at a new phase of the efforts to reopen the economy, and the survey is the best tool to evaluate the opportunities and challenges companies are facing during this process. The data from the survey will help inform the policies, initiatives, and resources needed to move towards recovery.

If you are in an administrative or operational position at a Wake County business, of any size, in any industry we could use your help by taking the Business Impact Survey.

The survey will remain open until Friday, June 19.

We know how valuable your time is. For each survey, you’ll have a chance to win a $25 gift card to support a local small business! Winners will be sent gift cards via email.
