Holly Springs Leaders Come Together to Build Stronger Business Environment

Holly Springs entrepreneurs gathered last week with agencies that provide support to small businesses in an initiative to build a stronger business environment in town. The meeting, called by the Town of Holly Springs Economic Development Department, resulted in local business leaders identifying two initiatives they would like to see accomplished in town within two years:

• Development of better resources and support for small businesses
• Downtown development

Teams of entrepreneurs and representatives from support agencies, including Town of Holly Springs Economic Development Department staff, soon will begin working on these initiatives.

“It’s very exciting to see the enthusiasm local business leaders and support agencies have for each other and for the future of our community,” said Irena Krstanovic, interim director of economic development for the town. “I’m looking forward to helping accomplish the two initiatives these entrepreneurs said were most important to them.”
