ABB Named Cleantech Corporation of the Year

ABB, a leader in power and automation technologies, was recently named Cleantech Corporation of the Year at Cleantech Forum San Francisco. The award is given annually to a corporation with a significant international footprint that has made exceptional progress in accelerating their presence in the cleantech industry by way of corporate acquisitions, venture investments, product development and new customer announcements. Cleantech investor and industry participants’ feedback is also considered.  Over the past year, ABB has made two major acquisitions, Ventyx and Baldor Electric, which has advanced its cleantech credentials. ABB has also made investments in electric vehicle charging, smart grid communications, cyber security, asset monitoring and solar thermal generation.
