Triangle Job Fair Showcases Employment Opportunities in the Tech Sector

COME TECH OUT the Triangle Job Fair connects job seekers with hiring managers from over 30 Triangle companies

Raleigh, N.C. (April 15, 2013) – Work in the Triangle, a talent attraction initiative of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commercehas partnered with the North Carolina Technology Association andCouncil for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) to host the COME TECH OUT the Triangle Job Fair on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 8:00 – 11:30am at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Durham.  Over 30 employers will be featured at the job fair and expected attendance is 300+ job seekers. In conjunction with the in-person Job Fair, participating employers will also post job openings ranging from highly technical to marketing, sales and administrative positions on NCTA’s Job Board starting on April 1.  These positions will be featured in a virtual job fair via Twitter @WorkTriangleNC and the hashtag #ComeTechOutNC to reach job seekers from outside of the region. 

Those looking for new career opportunities will be able to connect with over 30 companies including Allscripts, Apptio, ARCA, ATCOM Business Technology Solutions, Bandwidth, Bellomy Research, Bronto Software, Cardinal Solutions Group, ChannelAdvisor, Citrix ShareFile, City of Raleigh, DB Global Technology, Dude Solutions, Encompass Solutions, Entigral Systems, Fidelity Investments, FoodLogiQ, GPS Technology, I-Cubed, Ipreo, KnowledgeTree, LexisNexis, Logical Advantage, MATRIX Resources, Netsertive, Open Software Integrators, Parata Systems, Railinc, Red Arrow Labs, Resolvit, Sageworks, SciQuest, SoftPro, Stanley Gibbons US Inc. and Volt Workforce Solutions. 

These companies have a wide variety of open positions encompassing all skill levels and departments.  Several hundred job seekers are expected to attend, so keys to getting the most out of the Job Fair are:

• Arrive early and allow adequate time to meet with preferred companies
• Bring hard copies of resume
• Research companies ahead of time and plan a few key questions as time will be limited
• Business attire

The Job Fair will precede NCTA’s annual State of Technology Conference, on April 24-25, which brings together business and technology leaders from across the state to discuss how technology is helping businesses and organizations thrive.
