Wake County Public School System’s newest high school prototype, Rolesville High School, was recently awarded the 2011 Architectural Design Award for Best Proposed Project at the Council of Education Facility Planners International Southeast Regional Conference.
The Council of Educational Facility Planners International is a professional organization whose mission is to improve the facilities in which children learn. The organization, comprised of a diverse group of professionals, is highly involved in all stages of school planning. CEFPI members work together to plan, design, build, equip, and maintain schools and colleges.
Traditionally, successful school prototypes have been used as a template for future school development.
