About WCED

Investors

Wake County Economic Development is funded through investment from the private and public sectors through the Raleigh Chamber’s EDGE program. Raleigh, Wake County, and the region are known for collaborating effectively to bring about tangible results for our communities. Effective collaboration does not happen by accident. It is intentional and requires the dedication of business, government, and civic leaders like you. The EDGE program is an example of this successful collaboration.

The EDGE 6 program is the right plan to continue momentum. This momentum has been generated by 25 years of earned success. This program is about growing local companies and continuing to position Wake County and the Research Triangle region nationally and internationally. By exercising financial leadership by investing in EDGE 6, this will help bring prosperity to the greater region.

Strong leadership is a critical component of the EDGE initiative. Below you’ll find the EDGE leadership team and a full list of investors to date.
