Cary Named as No. 2 Best Place to Live in the Southeast

Analysts at Livability compiled a list of over 100 data points that examined cities with a population between 75,000 to 500,000 to determine the best places to live in America. Cary found itself at the 2nd overall spot out of 25 cities. Researchers found that Cary continues to retain an affordable cost of living and a small-town feel. The city was also named the safest city in the United States in 2022! The report highlights specific components around education, safety, affordability, job market, and more. It was noted that Cary has one of the highest concentrations of top-ranked public schools in North Carolina, which makes it an ideal city for growing families. Read more here.
