Wake County Economic Development has engaged Market Street Services, a highly respected economic development consulting firm to help reevaluate its current operating structure and marketing initiatives.

Market Street Services has been helping communities understand local, regional, national, and global forces impacting economic development since 1997. With a staff of professionals with more than 30 years of experience, including work with many of WCED's direct competitors such as Austin and Nashville, Market Street Services will spend the next seven months developing an economic cluster analysis and marketing strategies for Wake County. 

Significant input from our business and community leaders will be a critical part of this process and has already started. The business community is invited to join us at this special Community Briefing to learn about the research that has been uncovered.
