Each year, Trade and Industry Development Magazine presents the Corporate Investment and Community Impact (CiCi) Awards. This unique awards program recognizes corporate locations and investments with a focus on both the company investing in the community and the economic developers responsible for securing that investment. Recognition is bestowed on companies and communities in two distinct categories of site selection: Corporate Investment, as well as Community Impact.
FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies' Holly Springs expansion was named a 2022 winner in the community impact category. The project was one of just 15 winners in the category, representing more than 700 new jobs and a $2B investment in Wake County. The project is recognized not only for its size and scale, but for it's impressvie commtiment to stringent environmental standards.
