Global Technology Company to Invest $2.1 Million in Wake County for New Headquarters

Governor Josh Stein has announced that Ralliant Corporation, a worldwide provider of precision technologies across multiple industries, will establish its global headquarters in Wake County, creating 180 jobs and investing $2.1 million in Raleigh’s North Hills area.

Ralliant will become an independent public company following its planned separation from Fortive Corporation (NYSE: FTV) in early Q3 2025, formed from Fortive’s Precision Technologies segment and built on industry-leading brands with approximately $2 billion in revenue. The company is trusted for precision technologies that drive next-generation innovation and safeguard mission-critical applications across test and measurement, specialty sensors, and aerospace, defense, and space subsystems. By establishing its headquarters in Raleigh, Ralliant will create a hub for innovation and growth.

“Raleigh is an ideal location with its strong high-tech research presence, top universities, skilled workforce, and proximity to our operating companies,” said Tami Newcombe, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ralliant. “We are excited to build our future here—driving breakthroughs, empowering progress, and shaping what’s next.”

Ralliant’s decision to locate their headquarters in Raleigh is a testament to the strength of the local economy, competitive talent pipeline, and exceptional quality of life. In fact, Raleigh was recently named a top five city for headquarters by Site Selection Magazine.

“We understand that companies have many options for establishing a new headquarters location,” said City of Raleigh Mayor Janet Cowell. “Ralliant Corporation chose a city with a talented workforce, a high quality of life, and a safe, welcoming environment. The fact that another company is establishing a headquarters location in Raleigh and launching groundbreaking technologies demonstrates the strength of our great city.”

Ralliant’s decision was largely motivated by the availability of top technology talent in the region. As the recently-crowned “Best Performing Large City” by the Milken Institute, Raleigh’s consistently strong labor market is boosted by a large and well-rounded high tech sector.

“I’m excited to share that the Ralliant Corporation will bring up to 180 new jobs with an average salary of $189,479 to Wake County over the next five years,” said Chair Susan Evans of the Wake County Board of Commissioners. “We welcome the company and its future employees to our community, and we value the $2.1 million in capital investments that they’ll make to our growing economy.”
