The Downtown Raleigh Alliance is launching Thursday a new branding campaign meant to boost the way the Capital City is marketed.
The new campaign will be called “YOU R HERE,” according to a release from the downtown alliance. The organization plans to release more information Thursday evening at its annual meeting.
“We are thrilled about the possibilities the new ‘YOU R HERE’ brand holds for uniquely positioning downtown Raleigh and all it has to offer,” president and CEO David Diaz said in a written statement.
The alliance says it will recreate all of its current marketing materials – its Web site, downtown guides, monthly newsletters and membership brochures – to reflect the new campaign.
The DRA also will launch a new Web site Thursday: www.YouRHere.com.
In a statement, the alliance says the new campaign is meant to reflect the concept of “unexpected flavors,” which it described as “a notion of discovery and authenticity that cannot be duplicated.”
FWV Distilled, the advertising arm of marketing agency French/West/Vaughan, designed the campaign.
