North Carolina Ranks #4 in Nation for Tech Occupations

The North Carolina Technology Association identified North Carolina as the fourth fastest growing tech industry in the nation. The state saw an increase of over 28% in tech occupations, nearly 11 percentage points above the national average. The study recognized North Carolina as having over 25,000 technology companies in the state who are eager for growth in their workforce. Ted Abernathy, managing partner of Economic Leadership, states “The technology sectors, all four of them, continue to grow, particularly in IT and in the life sciences.” Read more about the findings here.
