Raleigh listed as a Top Labor Market

Raleigh is ranked as a top Labor Market by the Labor Market 150 Index presented by Career Builder and Economic Modeling Specialists Intl, overall the index illustrated the best places to find jobs in the U.S. Raleigh was ranked #3 out of 150 metros. The Labor Market 150 Index variables are weighted separately based on employment rank, job postings rank, and unemployment rate and then combined to receive an overall rank, which is based on total score.

According to Joshua Wright, director of marketing and PR at Economic Modeling, the company that helped CareerBuilder compile the list stated that Houston, Raleigh, San Jose and Salt Lake City are all preforming well because, “All those are economies are fast growing. They are very dynamic. They have a lot of knowledge workers.”
