Raleigh named #1 Best Place to Live for Veterans

In an analysis performed by WalletHub, Raleigh ranked #1 across 100 cities in the U.S. for military veterans to settle down after service. The report was comprised of 20 key indicators of livability, affordability, and veteran-friendliness. Raleigh boasted a perfect score in economic metrics of military skill-related jobs, low veteran unemployment rate, and quality of VA health facilities. Raleigh also had one of the lowest amounts of homeless veterans per veteran population, which made it a top city for an almost perfect quality of life.
