Raleigh Named 2nd Best Large Metro for Women in Tech

CoworkingCafe conducted a study that analyzed more than 10 relevant metrics in the tech sector to pinpoint the top U.S metros for women in tech. Raleigh was identified as the 2nd top metro out of 55 cities with populations over 1 million. It was even noted that the metro has one of the highest percentages of female tech workers at almost one-third of the total tech job pool. A high percentage (almost 65%) of female tech professionals in the Raleigh metro benefit from health insurance; the 2nd best percentage in the nation.
