Raleigh Named 6th Best Place to Live in the U.S.

U.S. News & World Report has listed Raleigh, NC as the #6 Best Place to Live in the U.S. in 2025-2026. The study ranked 150 major cities across key metrics of quality of life, job market strength, and cost of living. The city was noted for having a low unemployment rate, an on-par cost of living average, and low crime rates. Raleigh’s crime rates were lower than similarly sized metros.
