Analysts from LendingTree narrowed down a list of the top 10 biggest boomtowns in the United States and Raleigh proved to stack up well to the competition! The City of Oaks was ranked #8 in a study of 100 metros in the nation. The study evaluated categories in each city, including people and housing, work and earnings and business and economy. Raleigh ranked strongly in the people and housing category, as the study found that there was a population increase of more than 4%, with nearly 15% of that population coming from another county, state, or country.
