Far & Wide, a popular U.S. travel publisher, has recognized Raleigh as the #1 most livable city in the United States. The study identified over 230 cities with high populations to narrow down the top 30 cities that offered safety, affordability, low traffic and pollution, and access to healthcare. Raleigh’s highlights included a reasonable cost of living, numerous museums, a thriving bar scene, a globalized culinary culture and outdoor activities galore. Innovation was at the forefront for the city, as the Research Triangle Park infuses possibilities with new and exciting ideas.
