Raleigh Ranks #2 Best City in the Nation to Buy a House in 2023

Raleigh has been recognized as one of the best cities in the country to buy a house in a recent report by the National Association of Realtors. A variety of factors were considered including home affordability, job growth, migration gains and housing supply. Out of 179 markets analyzed, Raleigh finished strong with a home inventory percentage that has increased by 188% in the last 12 months. The city also saw the lowest unemployment rate since before the pandemic, which has bumped the Housing Affordability Index to nearly 93%. Read more about the findings here.
