Raleigh Recognized as Top 5 City for Veterans to Live

WalletHub has named Raleigh, NC as the 3rd Best City for Veterans to Live! Over 100 large U.S. cities were analyzed across 19 key indicators of livability, affordability and veteran-friendliness. These metrics included the share of military skill-related jobs, veteran income growth, and the availability of VA health facilities, among others.  

Raleigh boasts the third-lowest veteran homelessness rate in the country. The homelessness rate has been cut in the last few years to only 1 homeless individual for every 1,000 veterans. It was also noted that Raleigh offers great education and job opportunities for veterans. Read more here.
