Wake Med and UPS Partner for Medical Delivery Drone Project

UPS has launched an airline for life-saving medical deliveries, this is the first-ever approved drone airline, and used on Wake Med's campus. In partnership with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, drone companies and traffic management companies, WakeMed is one of only two health care systems in the United States testing long-range medical package delivery using drones.
