WCED's Ashley Cagle Receives Award for Leadership

During the Wake County Public School System Superintendents Breakfast, Ashley Cagle, assistant executive director for Wake County Economic Development, was honored for her outstanding leadership as a volunteer for WCPSS School-to-Career Council. Ashley is a dedicated advocate for K-12 education and the involvement of business with education programs. Over the summer, she was instrumental in connecting area businesses with educators as part of Wake County’s Public School’s first-ever CTE teacher immersion day.
