Wake County Economic Development's talent recruitment initiative, Work In The Triangle, has been making waves recently. The initiative was recently featured on WRAL-TV Channel 5, highlighting the fact that Wake County is one of the fastest-growing counties in the country and how Work In The Triangle is playing a significant role in drawing in new talent. Work In The Triangle places digital ads in 20 targeted metro areas, including high-cost cities like New York and Los Angeles, as well as similar-sized cities like Austin. The ads direct visitors to an interactive website that showcases the region's cost of living, quality of life, and job opportunities. The initiative has been a resounding success, with nearly 148,000 people learning about the Triangle via the website between July 2022 and 2023.
As a program of the Raleigh Chamber, Wake County Economic Development (WCED) knows that location means access; access to talent and technology, access to fast-growing markets, and access to a place where you can balance work and play. As Michael Haley, Executive Director of WCED, said, “For us, our role is helping to create that story.” Read the full article and check out the Work In The Triangle website today.
